Guidelines on How to Complete the Online Psychometric Test
1. Introduction & Overview
The Online Psychometric Test is designed to evaluate your personal characteristics and professional preferences. The assessment is structured into two primary tasks, each focusing on a distinct aspect of self-evaluation:
- Task 1: Self Investigation — A questionnaire focusing on self-investigation. This section includes 6 distinct perspectives, with 5 questions per perspective.
- Task 2: Appealing Occupations — A comprehensive questionnaire assessing your preferences against various professions. This section includes 6 perspectives, with 8 occupations per perspective.
1.1 Response Indicators
To record your answers, an indicator scale is displayed at the top of each questionnaire page. You will select the option that best describes your preference.
Key: To mark your answers, there will be an indicator in the above for each questionnaire describing your preference according to your choice.
- Very True: 2
- Mostly True: 1
- Not True: 0
2. General Guidelines
Before beginning the assessment, please review the following guidelines to ensure accurate and smooth testing experience:
- Email Address: Ensure you have a valid, active email address ready. Your official results sheet will be sent directly to this address.
- Honesty & Authenticity: Since the test reflects your personal characteristics, please provide your data honestly and without hesitation. There are no right or wrong answers.
- Data Privacy: The CCGA counselors and the EDEX Careers Team guarantee 100% confidentiality. Your personal information and test results are fully protected.
- Time Management: Take your time to read each statement carefully and select the most suitable option. Do not rush through the questions.
3. Step-by-Step Test Completion
- Access the Registration Portal: Click the registration link provided to you. The registration portal will display on your screen.
- Enter Your Details: Fill in your Name and Email address in the respective fields. Choose your preferred language to continue, then click Enter to load the first task.

Complete Task 1 (Self-Investigation): This task consists of 6 pages, each representing a different personality perspective. For each statement, select the option that best describes you using the 3-point indicator scale.
Note: You must answer every single question on the page to proceed. The Next button will remain locked until all fields are completed.

Navigate the 6 Perspectives: You will progress through the following perspectives in randomized order:
- Realistic
- Investigative
- Artistic
- Social
- Enterprising
- Conventional
- Transition to Task 2: After completing the first task, a transition slide will appear. Click the “Continue” button to proceed to Task 2 (“Appealing Occupations”).
- Complete Task 2 (Appealing Occupations): Evaluate 6 professions within each of the 6 perspectives (Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, Conventional). Use the same indicator scale to plot your preferences. All questions must be answered to proceed.
- Generate Results: Once Task 2 is complete, the final slide will appear. Click “Click Here” to view your results graph. After reviewing your graph, click the “Finish & Generate Email” button. The official results sheet will be sent as an attachment to your registered email address.
- Schedule Counseling Session: Your results email will contain details on how you will be connected with a CCGA counselor for a personalized consultation session based on your profile.
